This Privacy Policy explains how Flair Style, Corp. (“Flair”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our website, mobile app and styling services (the “Service”). We've written it to be clear and human. By using Flair, you agree to the practices described here.
We collect only what we need to provide the Service, including account access, styling, avatar creation, closet features and virtual try-on:
Photos you upload or capture are used to provide styling features such as avatar creation, measurement estimation, closet item extraction, recommendations and try-on. We do not sell your photos, profile data, interests, activity or any other personal information. You can delete your account in the app or request deletion of your photos and account data by contacting hello@flairstyle.ai. Photos that include your face are covered in more detail in section 05, Face data.
Flair uses external AI services to generate avatar images, virtual try-on previews, styling recommendations and closet item extraction. Specifically, the photos you choose to share (selfies, body photos and closet photos) and your styling requests are sent to the Google Gemini API, and generated images may be processed by fal.ai for background removal. This data is sent only for inference: to generate the expected image or styling output for you. We do not permit this information to be used to train those models.
These providers process this data on our behalf, under data-processing terms that provide protection equal to the commitments in this policy — they may not use it for their own purposes, for advertising or for model training. Before any photo or styling request is first sent to an AI service, the app asks for your explicit consent.
Some Flair features work with photos that include your face. This section explains what face data we collect, all of the ways we use and disclose it, how long we keep it, and how you can delete it or withdraw your consent.
Collection and uses. When you create your avatar, you take or upload a selfie (a photo of your face) and body photos. We use these photos, and the avatar images generated from them (which depict your face), solely to create your personal avatar, to power virtual try-on previews and to provide the styling features described in this policy. We do not extract facial geometry, faceprints or any other biometric identifiers from your photos, and we do not use face data for identification, face recognition, advertising, marketing or any other purpose.
Sharing. Your face photos are stored securely on our servers hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. To generate your avatar and try-on previews, they are shared with the Google Gemini API for inference only, and the generated avatar images may be processed by fal.ai for background removal. Any third party with whom we share face data provides the same or equal protection of your face data as stated in this privacy policy: they process it on our behalf, only to generate your results, and may not use it for their own purposes, for advertising or to train AI models. We never sell face data and never share it with anyone else.
Retention. We keep your face photos and the avatar images generated from them only for as long as your account is active, so that the app can continue to show your avatar and try-on results. They are deleted immediately when you delete your account, with no grace period.
Deletion and withdrawing consent. The app asks for your explicit consent before any photo is first sent to an AI service. You can revoke that consent at any time in the app under Account → Withdraw AI consent — Flair will then send no further photos to AI services unless you consent again. To delete your face data, delete your account in the app (Account → Manage account → Delete account) or email hello@flairstyle.ai. Deletion removes your photos and avatar images from our active systems immediately.
Flair is in the process of joining affiliate programs with retail partners. Where an affiliate relationship is active, when you click a recommended product and visit that retailer, an affiliate network or retailer may use a cookie or tracking identifier to attribute that traffic to Flair. If you make a purchase after coming from Flair through an active affiliate link, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you and without any extra markup. These third parties process data under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
When you join our waitlist on the website, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (invisible mode) to help detect automated abuse. Turnstile runs in your browser and may process technical signals such as your IP address, browser characteristics and information about the page you are visiting. We do not use Turnstile for advertising or to build marketing profiles.
Cloudflare processes this data to provide bot-protection services to us. For details on how Cloudflare handles Turnstile data, including Cloudflare’s role as processor and controller for certain processing, see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
If you block scripts or connections to challenges.cloudflare.com, you may not be able to complete the waitlist form even though other parts of the site still work.
We use PostHog, a product-analytics provider, to understand how the app is used and to improve it. PostHog processes usage events (such as screens viewed and features used), basic device information and a general location derived from your IP address, linked to your Flair account. This data is processed on PostHog’s US infrastructure. We do not use it for advertising or to build marketing profiles. You can request deletion of this data by contacting hello@flairstyle.ai.
If you choose to subscribe to Flair Pro, your payment is made directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play — Flair never receives or stores your card number or other payment account details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlements across platforms. RevenueCat receives a device or account identifier along with your subscription product, purchase and renewal dates and transaction identifiers from Apple or Google, so that we can unlock the correct usage limits on your account.
We use this data only to manage your subscription entitlements and for related customer support and financial reporting. For details on how Apple or Google handle your payment information, see their respective privacy policies.
We do not sell your personal information, including your photos, profile data, interests or product activity. We share data only with:
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. Waitlist email addresses are kept until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed for launch communications and related administration.
You can delete your account from within the Flair app. Account deletion immediately deletes your account data and photos from our active systems. We do not apply a grace period.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account in the app. To exercise other rights, contact us at hello@flairstyle.ai.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to limit access to it.
Flair is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you of significant changes.
